knowledge is not found through science, it is found through the refinement of ones own being.

nope.. knowledge is found through the study method... (sheesh, and look what i do in real life.. i am a slacker!) what is achieved through the refinement of ones own being is what you efis call inner peace.... but true knowledge is found through patience and studying...

Who is to say that knowledge is found ONLY found ONE of these ways? They are both involve much contemplation.. Efi's must contemplate themselves and the World around them. If they are trying to enrich their existance then they must ask questions like: 'Why did(n't) I say/not say/do/not do that?', 'What was/am I feeling?', 'Why do/did I feel this/that way?', 'Would I have said/not said/done/not done that if I felt differently or were in a different situation..
Extremists have different types of contemplation... but this does not stop them from being able to contemplate like Efi's and vice versa...
I cannot speak for Efis, but I find becoming content with life gets harder and harder the more I learn about others.

actually those questions you ask is the basic process of how scientists work... why something happens, what is it about? why is it this way and not that way? would this happen if i do it all the time? or would it change?
when you start to solve these answers, or look for them, you are trying to study.... in this case, you are studing yourself..
