The recorded history of the birth of extremism started, in a somewhat following manner. We must say that we do not know how exactly it started, as we are still looking for "clues" and "proofs" of the existance of the articles mentioned in it.
There is a chance that sometime around the educational period, that is during the age of 16 through to 22, Jalamdhara, a King in Karnali founded the group. This was mainly a small club like thing, with ten different members, including Jalamdhara himself. The other nine, were all highly intelligent and they each were skilled, highly knowledged and had a tremendous amount of interest in a particular field (mentioned later on) that they brought to the club. It is interesting to note that at this stage in his life, Jalamdhara was not a King, but merely a student, although royal.
When the enemies of the King, Jalamdhara's father, found out about the skills of this group, he stole some of their ideas on advanced systems (advanced by those times). The enemies, it seems, used these against the King himself. It is not known at this point whether Jalamdhara's father died because of this attack, or other reasons like his pancreatic and liver problems. But whatever the reason, Jalamdhara had realised that the use of science was also in the evil nature. And, he had asked the group to disband because of this. There seems to have been a shift, or rivalry within the group, which by now were going under the word of Extremists. Thus, were born the first extremists. During this rivalry, only positives emerged. The group wanted the science to continue, no matter for what purpose: evil or good. And Jalamdhara wanted only good science. After many days of intense debate, it was resolved that the nine members would carry out their exploration of science, while hidden from the world. They would be contacted by Jalamdhara every now and then to use the newly discovered sciences in his goal of uniting his kingdom and full filling his dream. At this stage, the nine members went seperate ways. Jalamdhara, upon their departure introduced the word of Thera (a monk or a professor of higher understanding) and kept a constant touch with each of them.
Majjhantika Thera departed to Ajatasattu to live with the Piyadasis. His area of responsibility was Transmutation of Metals.
Mah deva Thera departed to Vesali to live with the Licchavis. His area of responsibility was Communication.
Rakkhita Thera departed to Kapilavastu to live with the Sakyas. His area of responsibility was Light.
Yonaka Dhammarakkhita Thera departed to Allakappa to live with the Bulis. His area of responsibility was Gravitation.
Mah-dhamma Rakkhita Thera departed to Ramagama to live with the Koliyas. His area of responsibility was Cosmogony.
Mah-Rakkhita Thera departed to Vethadipa to live with the Brahmins. His area of responsibility was Physiology.
Majjhima Thera departed to Pava to live with the Mallas. His area of responsibility was Microbiology.
Soºa Uttara Thera departed to Kusinara to live with the Mallas. His area of responsibility was Sociology.
Mahinda Thera departed to Pipphalivana to live with the Moriyas. His area of responsibility was Propoganda & Psychological Warfare.
Each of the Theras wrote a book on their topics during their time on the islands. It is rumored that these books are updated at a constant rate, much like today's internet. Because of the existance of internet, it is highly possible that this rumor is true, although how they did this centuries ago and how they continue to do this is not known. However, no such book has yet been proved of existance. This, many believe is because of the fear that in the wrong hands, it might do far more harm to science itself, as people would stop researching into science, and that they would simply just begin to accept the ideas of the book, rather than "earn" those ideas.
However, many argue and point to remote incidences throughout our history of their "coming out". Examples such as the mysterious arrival of the cure for the radioactive elements found in Magadha, once a large portion of Magadha's people were affected, and the sounds of explosions, which we now believe were ground based sonic booms near the coast of lumbini. No recorded technology during these times had anything on the works of this scale, and infact, some of the other "incidences" in the recent history are still not completly within our reach. With soo much power at their hands, they continue to define our progress into the coming generations, yet not using the power of science for their own evil ways.
