Karnali is holding the Chess Competition for the Commonwealth Games.
Rules:
After each game, points will be given to the winner, based on the following:
The points are awarded, so that incase of a draw in the best of three games, the competitor with the most points will win.

Since there are four competitors, the event will be spread out into a (maximum possible) total of 9 games.
There are two groups, based on ease of time-playing.
Group A: extreme007 and Lachlan Powers
Group B: Darius Rugahi and Sir Iain de Vembria
It will be a best of three games in each round.
Round 1:
extreme007 versus Lachlan Powers
Darius Rugahi versus Sir Iain de Vembria
Round 2: FINALS
Winner Group A versus Winner Group B
It is upto the participating competitors to talk to each other and fix up schedules for the games. The finish/deadline however will be enforced.
Round 1 ends Sunday 23:59 (Mountain Standard Time ie GMT - 7.00)
Round 2 ends Wedesday 23:59 (Mountain Standard Time ie GMT - 7.00)
Please have your games done by then. If not, the winner will be chosen at random. (So, the more you butter me up, the higher your chances of winning at random.)

- 100 minus the number of moves played by winner.
- Points from pieces still on board, in possession of winner:
- 1 point for pawn
- 2 points for knight and bishop
- 3 points for rook
- 5 points for queen.
